Feathering the Nest
Wizard here. The fathomable Wifey and I just finished rearranging our house to accommodate the scheduled arrival of our first child. The changes seem to be working and it is a refreshing feeling to just move things around every so often. We created a bit of extra space and not a moment too soon. We just received a care package from Auntie Mary and Uncle Cyril that came all the way from the rainy island of the United Kingdom. The clothes are absolutely precious and undeniably British. They even found a gorgeous outfit peppered with traditional English sayings for our daughter to learn and enjoy! Many thanks for the great gifts :-) We are sad to say we will not be meeting up with Cyril and Mary at Dr. Schnullzi's boda, but I am sure our lives will converge sooner than we think. As for the good doctor, we are eagerly anticipating the trip to the west coast to enjoy the celebration of his union with J-net. This certainly is the year of the wedding-we are attending three in the next seven weeks. Lots of family expansions taking place and I don't only mean Wifey's waistline, which BTW is up to 44 inches! Uh oh, time to go rub it (the belly). Have a great evening and rest assured, the Wizard will golf tomorrow!

Dr. Schnullzi?! I take the care and time to come up with a somewhat original (ok, borrowed shamelessly from a series of Henry Miller Novels written in 1951,but still!) online avatar, and this is the thanks I....
Getting riled up about being called "Schnullzi" is exactly why this name was devised in the first place!(I'm looking at you, Adrienne)
We anxiously await your arrival. (both of them!) It will be amazing to finally have y'all (note the appropriate use of said southern colloquialism)on our turf!
The care package was vividly described, I can just see it now. Those clothes were from "Marks n' Sparks" weren't they?

Okay, okay, no more Dr. Schullzi....although you have to admit it does roll off the tongue rather easily. We are chomping at the bit to see you guys and look forward to having a blast in a few short weeks. See you both soon!
