I like to keep an eye on the future, especially innovations that shift our use away from fossil fuels. I see the acute need for any new technology to be economically competitive as well as effective. To date, most of the alternative fuel vehicles require a compromise that renders them unattractive to the consumer. Be it long delivery times, lack of power, dull or unattractive styling, unproven technologies, or subpar fuel economy, the current iterations have failed to make a widespread impact on the consumer psyche.
