Travelin' Man

*Yawn*I am a little groggy this morning as I sit in McGee-Tyson airport awaiting our flight departure. We are flying to Dulles airport in Washington and then on to Tampa. I am anxious to get to Lakeland and see everyone. We have to make a brief stop to pick up our rental car (Thanks Daddy) and then cruise down I-4 to the place of my birth. We will be a few blocks away from my favorite Cuban restaurant in Tampa—La Teresita. We may just have to swing by to pick up a few media noches for the road. I am looking forward to the people and the atmosphere of Florida, but I am sure by the end of the trip I will not pine for the sweltering summer temperatures of central Florida. We will have to swing by the mall today to get the final sizing of my tuxedo and then it is back to my parents’ house for hugs and kisses. Erica went to Orlando yesterday for her bachelorette night and Donny rolled out to Tampa for his last wild party night as a single guy. I hope they have both recovered nicely and returned safely from their respective fetes. I think we have a laid back dinner with Papi and Nona scheduled for this evening and then off to hit the links tomorrow morning and determine which family has spawned the better golfers. The smart money is on the Peek family, but I will be doing my best to keep the Garcias in the hunt. Wifey and I are going to be boarding soon so I am going to sign off.
