Back in the swing of things
Allo, Allo to all my blogbuddies, the Wizard is back with you once again and none the worse for wear. These past few days we have been blessed with wonderful weather and the result was a great few days off with a lot accomplished. First, I got busy with the yardwork and tree pruning. That was followed by a day of waiting around for an inspection from the pest company that never materialized. The day was not a total loss, however, as I got to play my first few holes of golf since our visit to Portland! Great news, no pain from the hand and just a bit of rust that came off easily. The Wifey and I ventured out to Monterrey's for some Mexican food that night and enjoyed it thoroughly. The next day we both slept in a little before interviewing prospective pediatricians in anticipation of our little muchacha. We were both impressed with the practice we visited and feel confident that it will be perfect for our new baby. After that was done we returned home for a brief lunch and then off to the movies to see Episode III-The Revenge of the Sith! All I can say is WOW! I was beginning to think ol' Lucas was slipping, but this movie laid those thoughts to rest. I highly recommend viewing this movie in the theatres if you have not seen it yet. Incredible, especially on the big screen! Wifey and I then stopped by the gym for a dip in the pool. She really enjoyed the watery weightlessness and appreciated the break from the burden in her belly. She did comment on how disappointing it was to climb out of the pool and have the load returned so abruptly. Now I think it may be easier to persuade her to go swimming with me! We grabbed a couple gyros at Ali Baba's, a local Middle Eastern restaurant, and headed back to the casa. We watched a film called Control Room about the Al Jazeera television station which was extremely thought-provoking and then called it a night. Only four more days and we will be on our way to Lakeland for Erica and Donny's wedding. We are both looking forward to the trip and can't wait to see everyone and spend some time together. Have a great evening and don't believe everything you see on TV!
