Down Home Wedding
The Wifey and I just returned from the Museum of Appalachia where Roger and Mindy's wedding was held today. It was drizzling when we arrived, but the rain disappeared just in time to hold the service outside as planned. It was a touching service and a beautiful setting for the union of two wonderful people who love nature. The peacocks voiced their approval along with the guests, although the guests were the only ones who got to sample the delicious cake. Mindy was incredibly radiant and Roger was beaming the entire time, and for good reason. The ceremony was delightful and afterwards everyone enjoyed live music provided by Blue Mother Tupelo. All in all it was an absolutely perfect celebration for two incredible people who love each other deeply and I feel lucky to have been a witness. Here's to the newlyweds!
